In 1560, Castelneau, Protestant leader of the Amboise conspiracy, was arrested at Noizay by the troops of the Duc de Guise. Today, on its formally appointed grounds, the chateau is a hideaway of charm and serenity. The château boasts genuine period furniture which gives romantic charm to the rooms. Nice view on the garden and countryside. The Clock House It always been a part of the property, an old bulding just renewed with five rooms, very closed to the Château (20 meters). All fournitures keep the authentic style of the Château with the same accommodations mentioned above with also air-conditioning, safety box, computer plug, and the two rooms on the groundfloor have whirlpool bath, a king size four poster bed and their private small garden.
